My Better Half.....

....was busy with his camera today. The feeder is right outside the office window so snapping a few photos was easy, then back to work!
Fermented Nectar?

She looks
a little tipsy;)
Did you know
that a hummingbird's feet are so tiny they are unable to walk or hop? Their feet are used for perching, scratching, and preening.
Everything's Duckie...

Found this photo in our email so decided to share. Our local regional park attracts many birds including hummingbirds, black phoebes, western bluebirds, and waterfowl such as Egyptian geese, cormorants, herons, and domestic ducks (like mom and baby). I need to remember the camera on my next visit;) Hummingbird Happiness is taking a spring Road Trip to the eastern Sierra and the camera will be in tow! Photos to come...
